There’s always something going on at The Old Gallery. That’s because local residents help create all of our activities—and we have a wide variety of interests, passions and talents. Whether you’re a longtime resident, newcomer or visitor to our mountain community, we hope you’ll join us for one (or many!) of our outstanding events. We also invite you to get even closer to the action by volunteering for an event or submitting an idea for a new one. Contact info@theoldgallery.org.

The talented Brad Fitch makes a welcome return to The Old Gallery for an evening of music from his broad range of styles.
Raised in Estes Park Brad Fitch is a singer, songwriter and guitarist who has been playing professionally since he was 15 years old. He specializes in original folk and western music. In 2001, he performed for the President of the United States during his visit to Colorado. He also performed at the 2008 Democratic Convention and has won the Hawaii Music Award as well. He performs near Rocky Mountain National Park often and has recorded 15 albums.
“The purpose of my music is to have fun and to share that with others,” he says. “I intend for my songs to express the wonder of being alive on this beautiful planet, and I hope they will help listeners to feel relaxed, comfortable and happy. If my music takes you to a pleasant place in your heart or your mind, then I have accomplished my purpose.”

Dick’s presentation covers some interesting Longs Peak facts and stories, including a slideshow and a first-hand accounting of the August, 1968 Longs Peak Diamond rescue.
After leaving the military, he was hired as a seasonal ranger at Rocky Mountain National Park in charge of the Longs Peak Ranger station. During Dick’s final year at Longs Peak, he was involved with the rescue of a climber who had fallen on the Longs Peak Diamond. The Diamond is the sheer and prominent east face of Longs Peak. It has a vertical gain of more than 900 feet, all above an elevation of 13,000 feet. That rescue took over 24 hours and involved more than 40 rescue personnel. Until very recently, it was the biggest and most involved rescue in the history of the park.

Please note: As The Old Gallery is a nonprofit, musicians that perform here often play for a significantly reduced fee or no fee at all. It is our goal to offer area residents and visitors this high-quality entertainment without the long drive to the front range. Therefore, The Old Gallery is happy to allow these very talented musicians to ask for tips from those that attend and appreciate their performance. Tipping is completely optional but highly recommended. Please thank the artists for their efforts and tip generously.
