Mountain Skies Astronomy

Leslie is back and invites you to stargaze from the back porch of the Gallery.
This casual gathering will be a chance to explore our night sky and learn some interesting facts. Please come prepared with extra layers (it gets chilly in the mountains when the sun goes down) and a blanket if you want to lay back and gaze at the stars. You are welcome to bring binoculars, which may allow you to see some features of the night sky in greater clarity.
This event will be weather dependent.

August update: We’re moving locations. We are going to be holding class at The Meeker Park Lodge Rec Hall. Take the first road south of the Lodge (113E) or park at the Lodge and follow the path on the right side down to the Rec Hall.
