Are you a domestic well user in Boulder County? Do you want to learn how to protect your well and ensure the safety of your drinking water? Are you interested in learning simple, effective steps to keep your well-functioning and your water safe?
Boulder County Public Health, in coordination with CSU Extension and the Colorado School of Public Health, invites you to a free workshop designed to help you better understand and care for your domestic well. Programming will include an educational presentation on the fundamentals of domestic well stewardship and management. You’ll receive practical resources on how to have your well water tested, how to interpret your test results, and where to find technical assistance. Opportunities for free well water testing will also be available for interested participants. Participants will learn how to identify potential risks to their well, recognize early signs of water quality issues, and take proactive steps to maintain a safe and reliable water supply. A guided learning exercise will walk you through using the CSU Water Quality Interpretation Tool to understand your well water quality results.
